On June 24, the military organization Wagner created a potentially dangerous military situation in Russia. Putin has fled, countries are closing their borders to refugees from Russia, and private jets have filled the skies over the self-destructive country. In connection with these events, the Ministries of foreign affairs of France and Austria are asking their citizens to refrain from travelling to Russia and, in case of danger, contact the embassy.
"We warn against trips to the administrative regions bordering Ukraine (Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Voronezh, Rostov, Krasnodar). In connection with the current events, these administrative regions, particularly the city of Rostov and adjacent territories, should be avoided," Ministry of foreign affairs of Austria.
"Given the very high instability of the military and security situation, as well as the decision to apply the anti-terrorist operation regime in Moscow and certain regions of Russia, any trip to this country is formally inappropriate," the French foreign Ministry.
Soon a trip to Russia will be the tourist equivalent of a journey to Chornobyl.
