According to Skytrax, a investing-in-ukraine/service-for-investors/business-consultant/" rel="dofollow">consulting company from the United Kingdom, Boryspil International Airport took 5th position in the ranking of the top 10 best airports in Eastern Europe.
Ministry of infrastructure notes: "Winners are determined by conducting a global survey of airport customers. Travelers from more than 100 countries took part in the 2020-2021 survey."
The ministry said that the World Airport Awards set quality standards for the global industry, assessing the level of customer service at more than 500 airports around the world. The survey and awards process is fully funded by Skytrax.
According to the rating, Budapest airport became the leader among the airports in Eastern Europe. The second and third places were taken by Bucharest and Tallinn. And the best airport in 2021 was Hamad in Doha (Qatar).
