10.000 Ukrainians Are Held in the Concentration Camps in Donetsk Region

Thousands of Ukrainians are held in inhumane conditions in 4 prisons of the unrecognized "Donetsk People's Republic"

The mayor of Mariupol and the whole of Ukraine are crying out for help: the occupiers are illegally detaining kidnapped Ukrainians in the pre-trial detention center in the Donetsk region. Today, there are 4 such pre-trial detention centers: 2 in Olenivka, 1 in Donetsk, and 1 in Makiivka. Ukrainians who were abducted for their pro-Ukrainian position, activists, Ukrainian journalists and those who did not pass the "filtration" are kept 10 people in 1 cell measuring 2x3 meters. People are regularly tortured, hardly fed, not given water and not released to prison. It is known that people there die from such conditions.

"The people of Mariupol hardly get water and food. They are not taken outside. They have no access to normal medical care and are subjected to various forms of torture, from psychological to physical. I call on the International Red Cross and the UN to pay attention to the illegal detention of civilians in the city. Use all possible tools to obtain lists of prisoners. Ensure that they currently receive decent living conditions. Let's work together for the liberation of every Mariupol resident," Mariupol mayor Vadym Boychenko.
