On June 21-22, the InnovateUkraine Green Energy Challenge Fund was presented on the Ukraine Recovery platform. The mission of the fund is to help Ukrainian innovators in the field of green energy develop and implement their projects. In this way, the UK contributes to the transition of Ukraine to environmentally friendly energy production and energy consumption and strengthens the energy security and independence of our country.
The budget of the InnovateUkraine Green Energy Challenge Fund is £10 million.
Until September 2023, those wishing to bring their useful product to the market before September 8 can apply to participate in the competition and receive grant support in the range of £50.000 to £2 million. Project design and construction — March 2024 — March 2026.
Conditions
- The project should be focused on the energy recovery of our country;
- The idea must be innovative, low-carbon, affordable and safe;
- The product should contribute to the energy supply of settlements that are in a shortage of energy supply.
These projects will likely be implemented during the restoration (soon) of the de-occupied Donetsk, Luhansk, and Crimea.
