As of the morning of March 22, 2022, 117 children were killed, more than 155 were injured. Children suffered the most in these regions:
- Kyiv — 58;
- Kharkiv — 40;
- Chernihiv — 31;
- Donetsk — 30;
- Mykolaiv — 24;
- Kyiv city —16;
- Zhytomyr — 15;
- Kherson — 15;
- Sumy — 14 regions.
The US Pentagon has accused Russia of war crimes against Ukraine. Therefore, the defense Ministry will help gather relevant evidence: "We certainly see clear evidence that Russian troops are committing war crimes, and we are helping to gather evidence of this."
