25.000 Ukrainians Are Considered Missing as a Result of the War

Ukrainian ombudsman: as of the 18th month of the war, more than 25,000 Ukrainians have disappeared as a result of Russian missile attacks, torture, filtration camps and kidnappings

Ukrainian ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets said that during the Russian full-scale war of Russia in Ukraine, the demographic situation in the country has deteriorated significantly. In addition to the fact that more than 26 million people are fleeing from Russian aggression abroad, 25.000 citizens of Ukraine are missing.

Representatives of the Ukraine note that the Russian Federation still allows itself to capture civilians.

"In fact, every day Russians detain civilians in the temporarily occupied territories, thus adding to this list," Dmytro Lubinets.

It should be noted that the situation with the rescue of civilians is as difficult as with the liberation of the defenders of Ukraine from captivity.

Tubinets cited the example of journalist Dmytro Khyliuk, who was kidnapped by Russians in the Kyiv region at the beginning of the war. Since 2022, Russia has been holding the journalist captive and does not give information about his whereabouts, condition, etc.

However, there is another side, not all Ukrainians were kept hostage — Russian invaders killed them. There are already hundreds of confirmations that the Kremlinists dig new holes for the mass burial of the people of Ukraine. Who is under the ground and who has no chance to escape is unknown.

Let's note that demographers of the past genocide of the Ukrainian people, artificial hunger Holodomor, resulted in millions of deaths. During the Holodomor, Moskow killed up to 10 million people in the Ukrainian SSR.
