On 4 February, the first deputy minister of Finance of Ukraine and representatives of other ministries met. According to the press service of the Ministry of finance, the topic of discussion was the Budget declaration for the period 2023-2025.
An important condition for the preparation of the declaration is the provision of public budget objectives core and incremental costs for their implementation by the primary budget managers.
The objective of the budget managers' proposals is to provide a medium-term perspective and a budget policy vision to guide the 2023-2025 budget.
A budget declaration is drawn up annually by 1 June of the preceding plan year. After adopting the new BD by the cabinet of ministers, the previous declaration shall cease to have an effect. The Budget declaration 2022-2024 has already been adopted by the cabinet of ministers and submitted to parliament.
