$38 Mln to Support Ukrainian Farmers in 2022

In 2022, financing of the Ukrainian State Fund for Support of Farms will be increased to $38 mln

This news was announced by the first deputy minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine Taras Vysotskyy on a working trip to the Odesa region. 

“$38 mln is already the planned amount, but negotiations are ongoing to increase the amount to $187 mln. In addition, it is envisaged to increase the term of crediting small farmers up to 10 years. That is, small and medium-sized agricultural producers in Ukraine will receive an instrument for purchasing land plots within the framework of the functioning of the land market,” Taras Vysotskyy said.

Ukrainian State Fund for support of farms is a state budgetary institution that performs the functions of implementing state policy in the field of support and development of farms.

Loans are provided by the fund on a repayable basis in the amount of not more than $19 thousand, with the security of the obligation to return budget funds for a period of up to 5 years, for the production, processing, and marketing of products.
