Ukrgazvydobuvannya (Ukrainian Gas Extraction — ed.), the country’s largest producer of natural gas and gas condensate, has started the development of a giant gas field Bezpalivske in the Kharkiv region. The depth of the well is 5.200 m. The development of the deposit provides a platform for increasing the total production capacity of the area that is in use.
"Ukrgazvydobuvannya has launched a new exploration well at the Bezpalivske field in the Kharkiv region with a flow rate of 160.000 m3 of gas per day. The location for drilling the well was determined by the results of 3D seismic surveys conducted in 2020," reports Ukrgazvydobuvannya.
As is known, the development of the Bezpalivske field began in 1995. According to Ukrgazviddshnavanya experts, 27% of the gas was produced during these years, and the total reserve is 4 billion m3.
