The first three quarters of 2021 attracted $4.8 billion in foreign direct investment to the country's economy. It is a record amount for the entire economy of the modern Independent.
Thanks to the post of the prime minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, it became known on his Facebook page.
"For the third quarter of 2021, we have a record level of foreign direct investment in recent years — the FDI balance amounted to $4.8 billion. For comparison, for the whole of 2017, it was $3.7 billion, and for the whole of 2018 — $4.5 billion. A significant part of the investments that are now being made are reinvestments," commented Shmygal.
