The long-awaited MARS II arrived in Ukraine today. This became known from the message of the minister of defence of Ukraine, Oleksii Reznikov.
"4 additional HIMARS have arrived in Ukraine. I'm grateful to Joe Biden, Lloyd Austin III, and the American people for strengthening the Ukrainian army. We have proven to be smart operators of this weapon. The sound of the HIMARS volley has become a top hit of this summer at the front lines!" Oleksii Reznikov.
By order of the Bundeswehr, these MLRS have been strengthened: added weight and increased size. MARS II is a licensed copy of the American M270, manufactured at the facilities of the German military concern Krauss-Maffei-Wegmann. We remind you that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been trained to work with MARS II in Germany.
The MARS II systems that arrived in Ukraine include 12 fibreglass guides for missiles, the launch speed of all missiles is 60 seconds. MLRS MARS II are equipped with the powerful European fire control system developed by Airbus Defense and Space.
The range of destruction of MARS II is 300 km. Bye-bye, Russians.
