Earlier, we reported that the president of the United States signed a document on the transfer of $40 million of financial support to Ukraine. Washington will be monitored by a special commission. But Ukraine and America already have a budget allocation plan. So, every cent will be spent on the Ukrainian army.
The center of strategic communications of Ukraine told where will be spent aid of $ 40 million:
- $3.9 billion will be spent on European Command military operations, including intelligence support;
- $4.4 billion will be spent on the purchase and delivery of food to Ukraine to avoid shortages of goods;
- $6 billion will be spent on arms purchase, intelligence support, training, and security assistance to the armed forces of Ukraine;
- $8.7 billion America’s government uses to fill its weapons stockpile. Such a step is necessary to close the sites after the transfer of military aid to Ukraine;
- $11 billion for weapons, protective equipment, and supplies. These purchases Joseph Biden will send to Ukraine under the accelerated program and without a vote of the Congress;
- $13.8 billion will support the work of the Ukrainian government. The aid procedure will be carried out through the US department of state and the Ukrainian economic support fund.
$54 billion in total American aid to Ukraine during the war. This is a record amount of support and Ukrainians are grateful for it.
