Russia’s war for control of foreign territories and Ukraine’s struggle for freedom has been going on for 15 months. The aggressor continues to advance in the Donetsk region in the hottest areas: Bahmut, Avdeevka, Liman, Kremennaya, and Kupyansk. At the same time, the Kremlin does not regret spending resources. It is not known how many soldiers of the Russian Federation are on the battlefield, but there are approximate numbers of casualties that the aggressor experienced during the 457 days of the war:
205.720 — personnel;
3.796 — tanks;
7.435 — armoured personnel vehicle;
3.384/570 — artillery systems/MRS;
328 — anti-aircraft warfare systems;
310/296 — aircraft/helicopters;
2.910 — UAV operational-tactical level;
1015— cruise missiles;
18 — warship/boats;
6.161— vehicles, fuel tanks;
446 — special equipment.
The Ukrainian side is also far from winning on the battlefield. However, advisor to the head of the presidential office, Mykhailo Podoliak, said that the counteroffensive in some districts has already begun. On maps that do not reflect the events in real-time, you can already see that the points close to Bahmut are released from the occupiers. The situation in Bahmut itself has not yet been commented on.
At the same time, we can say that the Kremlin has become nervous. Every time something goes wrong with Putin’s plan, the aggressor uses blackmail. So first, Russia blocked access to the Ukrainian port 28 ships, and then again began to threaten with nuclear weapons. On 25 May, the defence ministers of Russia and Belarus signed a document according to which Minsk was permitted to place tactical nuclear weapons in their country.
