60 Units of 155-mm “Krab” Howitzers for Ukraine from Poland

The contract between Ukraine and Poland for $700 million became the largest in the last 20 years

This is evidenced by the Polish news agency Dzennik: "The contract for the supply of self-propelled guns worth 3 billion zlotys ($700 million) has become the largest export military order in Poland over the past 20 years."

Krab howitzers are produced in Poland the Huta Stalowa Wola plant in the amount of 20-30 units per year. The plant is part of a group of defense enterprises in Poland. According to Dzennik, Ukraine is not only the first exporter of howitzers, but also the largest customer over the past 20 years.

"This is a kind of breakthrough for the Polish defense industry, because the country has not had such a large export contract for many years," Dzennik notes.

We remind you that as of the end of May, Ukraine received 18 Krab self-propelled howitzers from Poland, the rest of the batch will be transferred over several months.
