The bill proposes to increase the budget by $94 million and distribute it between such projects:
- State agency for highways of Ukraine — $38 million;
- Large construction — $38 million;
- Air Ocean airline's statutory capital — the rest.
The Ministry of infrastructure said that the French consulting company Aerogestion is developing a national airline Air Ocean business plan. And now the work is already at the completion stage. At the end of this month, there will be an event from the Ministry of infrastructure and the State Agency for development and tourism, at which Aerogestion will present a business plan for Air Ocean.
For the first time, plans to create a national airline were announced by president Zelenskyy in April 2020. In June this year, the PM of Ukraine Shmygal announced the work of the Ministry of infrastructure on the Air Ocean concept. According to Shmygal, Air Ocean will cost the country "not cheap," but create many jobs.
It is known that the national air carrier will operate on the aircraft of the state concern Antonov.
