Nova Poshta has announced the launch of a modern automated terminal in the east of Ukraine.
The terminal is equipped with automated equipment of the Dutch MHS Global and Lithuanian Equinox. It is capable of processing 26.000 parcels per hour, and after the introduction of an additional sorting line in the spring of this year, the total capacity will increase to 36.00. parcels per hour.
This is the second largest facility of Nova Poshta after Kyiv, which passes 50.000 parcels per hour.
500 jobs have been created at the terminal. He works around the clock in 4 shifts. Parcels and cargoes for 108 settlements of the Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions will be sorted at the terminal.
Construction of a terminal with a total area of 18.000 m², lasted a little over a year. Nova Poshta's investment in the facility is up to €28.5 mln, where €13 mln is from the EBRD.
