A Story About the Audio Guide in Ukrainian that Earned in the Tower of London

At the initiative of the first lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska within the framework of the cultural diplomacy project in the Tower of London launched the twenty-seventh in the world and the first in the UK Ukrainian-language audio guide

Today in the world-famous Tower of London there was an opportunity to listen to a tour in Ukrainian.

"Over the last year, starting in June 2020, despite the difficult situation around the world and the relentless fight against the coronavirus, we have managed to spread the Ukrainian language in 27 locations, launching audio guides in the most prominent cultural monuments on the planet. I am sure that this is just the beginning of our great mission. There are many more interesting places in the world where the Ukrainian language will be heard soon," said Olena Zelenska.

The Tower is a special place for the British people. First of all, it is an architectural symbol of Great Britain, a museum monument. During its existence, the complex of buildings managed to be an arsenal, treasury, place of investing-in-ukraine/service-for-investors/warehouses/" rel="dofollow">storage of royal jewels, but the most famous Tower became a prison. The Tower is located on the north bank of the Thames, in the historic center of the capital.

This national treasury is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List because it is rich in unique exhibits.

The launch of the first Ukrainian audio guide in the UK is an important step in providing quality tours in the state language for those Ukrainians who live abroad or travel to other countries. Such innovation also makes a significant contribution to the promotion of national culture.

It will be recalled that it all started in October 2020, when the president's wife was in London. She was present at the signing of the memorandum with the administration of the historic royal palaces on the creation of the first audio guide in Ukrainian in the UK.
