According to the Ukrainian chamber of commerce and industry, to agree on this issue, a business mission of agricultural machinery manufacturers from Argentina arrived in Kyiv, headed by the president of the Agrentech Group (BTI AGRI) Victor Hugo Baro and the general manager of Agencia ProCórdoba of the government of the province of Cordoba, Roberto Rosotto.
“The Argentine corporation, which unites 9 manufacturers of agricultural machinery and spare parts, plans to open a representative office and a logistics center in Ukraine. Argentines are calling on Ukrainian entrepreneurs to cooperate,” the UCCI explained.
The president of the Ukrainian chamber of commerce and industry Hennadii Chyzhykov noted the importance of establishing dialogue and direct interaction with Argentine business and noted that Argentina is a very promising and important economic partner for Ukraine.
“In recent years, trade between our countries has slowed down. The primary task for us now is to increase the volume of trade at least up to the indicators of 2012 ($130 million). Cooperation here is the best tool for building up bilateral interest and business. Argentines call on Ukrainian entrepreneurs to cooperate: they are ready to exchange experience, create a common product that is interesting to the markets of many countries,” said Hennadii Chyzhykov.
To develop bilateral cooperation in the near future, it is planned to hold a number of events in Kyiv and the regions of Ukraine for Ukrainian and Argentine entrepreneurs.
