Approximately one-third of this cargo was supplied directly by AGROTRADE, while the remainder came from partner companies.
This collaborative effort allowed AGROTRADE to venture into a new export market, as Bangladesh typically imports wheat in large batches of over 50,000 tons. Previously, AGROTRADE focused on smaller shipments—around 35,000 tons—making entry into Bangladesh’s market challenging on its own.
“The partnership project with other suppliers enabled us to reach new markets,” said Andriy But, Director of Foreign Economic Activity at AGROTRADE Group. “Cooperating with multiple companies helps us cut costs on freight, share risks, and ultimately boost shipment profitability. Although the grain we shipped was technically feed wheat with 10.5% protein, it can also be utilized for food purposes.”
But also noted a recent milestone: as part of another partnership project, AGROTRADE successfully dispatched a record 24,400-ton shipment of rapeseed to Belgium, highlighting the Group’s ongoing efforts to expand its presence in international agricultural markets.
