Members of the European Parliament, who have liberal and democratic landmarks, met with the Ukrainian political party Servant of the People. The sides discussed the country's reconstruction after the war and identified the main steps of Ukraine's rebirth.
The meeting was attended by the co-president of the ALCE, Timmy Duley and US MP Billy Kelleher. Policies discussed programs that will help Ukraine "get on its feet". Today, Ukraine must develop liberal market ideas and mechanisms. This will allow Ukraine to become closer to the European models of state and, after the war, to become a member of them. The state official should, at the development stage, develop and implement liberal reforms.
European representatives, in turn, will help Kyiv to maintain a liberal-democratic course. ALCE will also participate in the reconstruction of the country after the war.
Ukraine believes that the support and visits of European colleagues to the country where the war is taking place symbolize victory over the aggressor. The support of representatives of other countries helps to tell the world about Russian aggression in Ukraine.
