Denys Shmygal congratulated Nataliya Gavrilice on her appointment and wished success in the implementation of all planned reforms for the benefit of the Moldovan people. He noted Ukraine's readiness to work fruitfully with Moldova on the path to European integration.
The parties also discussed integration into the European Union and joining the European energy network ENTSO-E.
"I believe that bilateral cooperation between our countries has great potential, in particular, in terms of bilateral projects. We appreciate that the development of cooperation with Ukraine is included in the program of the government of Moldova as one of the strategic directions," said the prime minister of Ukraine.
Denys Shmygal compared the success of the integration of the energy systems of Ukraine and Moldova into the European energy system ENTSO-E with the recent successful interaction of gas transit.
The prime minister of Ukraine expressed hope for a fruitful personal meeting in Chisinau during a working visit to mark the 30th anniversary of Moldova’s independence.
