The State highways agency of Ukraine Ukravtodor announced that the competition for constructing the first fragment of the ring road was won by the American company Bechtel Overseas Corporation.
The road section to be built by BOC will connect the M-07 Kyiv-Kovel-Yahodyn and M-06 Kyiv-Chop highways.
"This is the first 18-kilometer section of the future bypass road. It will be a new category I road with bridges, overpasses, bio-crossings for animals, and an overpass as part of the road. In addition, open parking lots, weighing platforms in motion, noise protection screens, and modern lighting will be built," Ukravtodor.
