In the coming years, the Odessa stadium "Chernomorets" will become a world-class sports facility and the central object of the entertainment infrastructure of Odessa and the entire region. This was announced by representatives of the American investment company Allrise Capital Inc. during the presentation of the stadium development plan to the Odessa authorities.
In 2020, the American investment group Allrise Capital acquired the Odessa sports complex "Chernomorets", which includes: a stadium, a hotel, a business center, and fitness clubs.
American investors presented a long-term plan for the development and restoration of the stadium and adjacent territories to the mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov.
During the meetings, the owners of the stadium spoke about ambitious plans for the future of the arena and about attracting additional capital investments to the development of the stadium's infrastructure.
The executive director of Allrise Capital noted that this is their first investment in Odessa.
"I am sure that it will not be the last. We have been present in the country for about three years and today Odessa is included in the investment strategy of Allrise Capital. At this stage, Chernomorets is the largest acquisition that we have made in Ukraine," Ruslan Zinurov said.
"At the moment, the investment process has already begun - work is underway to improve the technical condition of the facility. After replacing old lighting systems and switching to energy-saving equipment, the volume of energy consumption has been significantly reduced. Substations were also overhauled and engineering networks were partially restored," the representative said at the meeting. investment groups in Ukraine Serhiy Burka.
At the moment, all of the club's games at the stadium are subsidized by investors.
It was noted that the investment group intends to invest in the creation of a unified infrastructure of the stadium, as part of the park, by implementing the "city within the city" project.
"On the basis of the stadium, it will be possible to implement socially significant events of the highest level, which will undoubtedly contribute to the development of the city's tourism industry," said Sergei Burka.
Allrise Capital is a multi-strategy investment firm with a private equity mandate covering real estate, venture capital, and special situations in the US and selected emerging markets. In Ukraine, in addition to the Chernomorets stadium, the company has invested in some IT projects.
