A modern agricultural park FruitBank for processing fruit and berry products, is being built in Mostiska. The plant will be the first utility company to serve farmers from the Lviv region. Construction began in September 2021, and it is planned to launch production here next year.
Now the construction of a plant in Mostiski for processing fruit and berry products is underway. It will have three lines. In particular, the first is the production of jams and preserves, the second is the washing, cleaning and packaging of vegetables. For example, a borsch set, and the third line is the drying and production of any chips, for this, the company will buy a special infrared dryer that draws moisture from any product.
The innovation plant is being built as part of a sectoral support project. The total project budget is $82 thousand. In particular, these are funds from local budgets (Mostysky and Sudovo-Vishnyansky city councils), the regional budget and the state budget (support from the EU).
Such an enterprise will be implemented to create added value for farm products in the Lviv region. So farmers will be able to sell natural products and in a ready-to-eat form.
This will be the first plant in the Lviv region, created thanks to a sectoral support project and the first utility company of this type, and not the private property of one of the farmers. Our farmers will be able to hand over their products for processing or give them to the plant to produce jams, preserves, dryers, chips, etc.
It is planned to create at least 20 jobs in production.
