Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, met with a delegation from the European Parliament to discuss support for Ukraine's Victory Plan and preparations for the upcoming Second Peace Summit. The meeting also covered the implementation of the Peace Formula, according to the Official Internet Representation of the President of Ukraine.
Delegation's Visit and Agenda
Members of the European Parliament arrived in Ukraine to engage with high-ranking Ukrainian officials and to participate in a thematic conference centered on the sixth point of the Peace Formula: "Withdrawal of Russian Troops and Cessation of Hostilities."
"The main topic of the meeting with the Head of the President's Office is support for the Victory Plan and preparation for the Second Peace Summit," the official statement read.
Emphasis on European Strength and Unity
During the discussions, Yermak highlighted Europe's resilience and potential, urging for stronger collaboration with Ukraine.
"Now we need to talk about it loudly. With Ukraine. The Victory Plan presented by the President of Ukraine is not only about the military. It is also about the economy, about the future," Yermak stated.
Presentation of the Victory Plan
Yermak detailed the recent presentations of the Victory Plan in the United States and various European countries. He emphasized teamwork and the involvement of civil society in promoting the plan's objectives. The discussions also touched upon thematic conferences dedicated to each point of the Peace Formula. These conferences aim to produce a joint communiqué, which will serve as a foundation for proposals at the Second Peace Summit.
"The Second Summit must conclude with a concrete result. That's why the Victory Plan is so important for us: to be very strong," he added.
Openness to Adjustments in the Peace Formula
Yermak affirmed Ukraine's readiness to consider adjustments to the Peace Formula, provided they uphold the nation's territorial integrity and full sovereignty.
