First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) Alexander Kornienko announced the next tax reform in Ukraine. Parliament wants to pass the corresponding bill in the spring.
He also noted that in 2022 the parliament plans to focus primarily on pension and tax reforms.
According to him, in general, in 2022, the parliament plans to focus primarily on pension and tax reforms, introduce an economic passport of a Ukrainian, adopt a law on the capital, start considering decentralization changes to the Constitution and reform the security service of Ukraine.
Let us remind you that on November 30, the Ukrainian parliament adopted bill No 5600 on amendments to the Tax Code. 255 people's deputies voted for the bill. The law introduces a minimum tax liability for a land plot. If the land assessment is standard for Ukraine $1025 per hectare, the minimum obligation will be $513 per hectare per year.
We also recall that in July, the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, signed a law on a one-time voluntary declaration of assets and the payment of a one-time fee to the budget. It was assumed that the law should create incentives for the withdrawal of income hidden from taxation from the shadow and help attract additional resources to the economy.
In September, Ukraine officially launched a one-year tax amnesty: voluntary declaration of income.
