The world's first athlete, who adapted the bike to suit his needs in the Himalayas and crossed the Andes on a horse, will help Ukraine to do tricycles for people with disabilities, which are becoming more so because of the war of Russia against Ukraine. The Jean Maggi Foundation will give Ukrainian manufacturers the Argentine tricycle drafts and production permits. Maggi wants to help establish the production of bicycles for people with disabilities in Lviv.
Ukraine is already familiar with JMF, which is engaged in the production of adapted transport for children and adults with physical disabilities. Last year, Maggi transferred the first tricycles to Ukrainians. He believes that Ukrainian soldiers and civilians who were seriously injured need re-socialisation. Help in the form of opening bicycle production in Lviv will assist in this thorny path.
