As a sign of the international community, a street in the capital of Turkey will be named after a Ukrainian scientist

Ukrainian Park will also be opened in Ankara

Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey Andrey Sibiga reported on his Facebook page that the street on which the Embassy of Ukraine is located will be renamed in honor of the Ukrainian historian, writer, translator, orientalist, one of the founders of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Agatangel Krymsky.

"The Turkish side responded positively to our appeal to change the name of one of the streets of the capital to the street by them. Agatangela of Crimea, whose 150th birthday we celebrate this year. From now on, the street on which our embassy is located will bear his name. Only a few formalities remain to be completed "- shared by Sibiga.

According to the Ambassador of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Park will soon open in the prestigious district in the center of Turkey. The decision to launch the park has been approved by the Government of Turkey and the park is now in the stage of beautification.

"I wish to sincerely thank the Turkish side for its constant support and for all the cooperation and assistance that we always feel. So, our goal "More Ukraine in Turkey" continues to fill with content," noted Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey Andrey Sibiga.
