New Elevator and Feed Mill in Central Ukraine
An Austrian investor, Thomas Bruner, has officially launched an elevator complex (15,000-ton capacity) and a modern feed mill in the Cherkasy region through his company Agro Plus 2006.
-
The elevator is already receiving barley and wheat, with sunflower and corn to be added soon.
-
The project creates a reliable logistics hub for farmers, improving post-harvest storage and feed production.
-
Total investment: ~UAH 90 million (approx. €2.1 million).
Partnership with Ukrainian Farmers
The model is not just about infrastructure — it’s about integrating small and medium-sized farmers into stable value chains:
-
Over 80 farms will be involved in the program.
-
Farmers can join pig-fattening projects without large upfront investments.
-
Agro Plus 2006 guarantees service support and market-price sales, ensuring predictable income.
This cooperative format mirrors European integration practices and allows local producers to plug into export-oriented supply chains.
