During the meeting, the minister for foreign affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba conducted a live broadcast to Ukrainians, in which he highlighted the fundamental issues of the talks.
According to Kuleba, "the American president clearly understands what we have been talking about since 2014 — this is not Russia's war against Ukraine, but a war of tyranny against the free world."
"President Biden said at the meeting: what is happening in Ukraine will change the 21st century. And together with you, we will achieve these changes in our favor... He assured us: the United States will be steadfast with Ukraine in everything until our victory. "Nothing will force the United States to turn away or weaken its support" — these are his words," the minister added.
The delegations raised the issue of assistance to our country and sanctions against the tyranny of Russia.
"I raised the issue of closing American and European ports to ships and cargo from Russia. We talked about how to encourage some European countries that are now evading new sanctions," Dmytro Kuleba said.
Negotiations between Ukraine and the United States have shown and confirmed that the United States is convinced of Ukraine's victory.
"Ukraine will definitely win, and we will work every day to bring it closer," Kuleba said.
