Binance Donated $1.2 Mln to Ukrainians

Cryptoexchange allocates funds to help refugees and internally displaced persons

On June 17, the Ministry of digital transformation announced that one of the world's largest crypto exchanges began to help Ukraine.

"This is one of the largest donations made by a private company for Ukraine. Within 3 months, payments will be received on a crypto wallet, after which they can be withdrawn to a bank card ($75 per month)," the Ministry's press service.

It is known that more than 1.713 Ukrainians who were forced to leave Ukraine because of the war received help from Binance. In total, about 5.000 people can receive assistance.

"Since the beginning of the full-scale war of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, Binance has demonstrated strong support for Ukraine. It has imposed sanctions against the Russian Federation and regularly strengthened them and has allocated $10 million to help Ukrainian refugees. Another confirmation that the entire democratic and technological world is on the side of Ukraine," the Ministry press office.
