On August 23, the grand opening of the Walk of the Brave took place. On this alley in the centre of Kyiv, overlooking the great Dnipro, the names of those who contributed to Ukraine's history, culture and life will be established.
On August 24, the Independence Day of Ukraine, a sign named after Boris Johnson appeared on the alley. The prime minister personally took part in the ceremony, as he arrived in Kyiv on that day.
"Boris, the whole country wants to thank you for your unwavering and strong support not only in words but also historically. That's why your name appeared on the Walk of the Brave today. My friend, thank you for your visit today and your continued strong support for our country and people. Always glad to see you on Ukrainian land!" Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
We remind you that on August 3, the first sign appeared on the Walk of the Brave — in honour of Andrzej Duda.
