Oleksii Arestovich, an adviser to the head of the presidential office, said this on April 24 in an interview with the Radio Liberty TV channel. The project is being implemented in collaboration with Turkey. The plant's construction has already been launched, and the first finished product will leave the assembly line at the end of this year. According to Arestovich, the Anka unmanned aerial vehicle plant is located in the city of Vasylkyv.
"In particular, we can talk about jet drones, which are interceptors. They are able to counteract other UAVs and even pilot aircraft. They will have Ukrainian engines and Turkish avionics: a hull and more," Oleksii Arestovich.
Drones of the new generation are equipped with the means to destroy anti-aircraft defenses. The basic package includes 8 Roketsan Cirit guided anti-tank missiles or 4 laser-guided MAM-L guided bombs.
