The Trident is one of the national symbols of Ukraine. Phoenix is a symbol of eternal life and rebirth. Trident and phoenix together – a modern interpretation of a strong Ukraine, which is reborn from the ashes of war. Artists from the Stroom Art team embodied this idea in their installation for Burning Man.
This year, in the Nevada desert, Ukrainians showed not only a hedgehog made of anti-tank hedgehogs but also a huge phoenix that burns down, giving life to the Ukrainian trident.
