The Ukrainian multifunctional complex SOCAR Energy Ukraine took part in the restoration of the town of Irpin, destroyed by the Russian occupation. This was reported by the press service of the company.
In particular, SOCAR invested in the restoration of public school No 12, which was damaged as a result of Russian shelling. A Friendship park will become the second object under the financial patronage of the company.
Olexandr Markushin, mayor of Irpin, calls on concerned Ukrainians, foreigners and businesses to help restore the city, which before the war was the city of youth in the Kyiv region. Where thousands of young families used to live, today there is not a single kindergarten, school, or home undamaged by the war.
"Irpin calls on all enterprises in various business areas to join the restoration of our beautiful city. We suggest that the name of your enterprises be minted in the history of our Irpin for life," Volodymyr Karplyuk, head of the investment council of Irpin.
We remind you that earlier the all-Ukrainian telecommunications company Kyivstar invested $100 million in the restoration of the country's infrastructure.
