The government has approved the Regulations of May 11, 2021, which established the institution for the development of small and medium-sized businesses and export promotion
The activity of the new structure will be aimed at the development and support of small and medium invest.com/investing-in-ukraine/starting-business-in-ukraine/build-an-enterprise/" rel="dofollow">enterprises. Also, the agency will engage in the support and promotion of exports of goods and services of Ukrainian producers.
The relevant regulation established a supervisory board of the Office, which consists of representatives of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Digital Economy.
Also, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers was commissioned to approve the program of activities of the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development and determine the procedure for monitoring its implementation.
Until March 2021 the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development was called Export Promotion Office of Ukraine.
We shall remind you that last week the Cabinet of Ministers formed the Economic Security Bureau, which will receive the powers of the SBU and the tax police in the fight against economic crimes.
