Strategic cyber support
Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced that Canada is allocating UAH 92 million to enhance Ukraine’s cyber resilience. The assistance is provided within the framework of the Tallinn Mechanism, which coordinates international cyber support for Ukraine.
The funding is aimed at:

protecting critical infrastructure from cyber threats,

developing advanced detection and response systems,

ensuring secure operation of digital government and security services,
-
countering large-scale cyberattacks linked to the war.
Who will benefit
Among the institutions that will receive direct support:

State Judicial Administration of Ukraine,

Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant,
-
State Border Guard Service.
In addition to financial assistance, Canada is also investing in capacity building: training programs, expert workshops, and regular meetings of the National Cyber Cluster, which unites government and private actors in the cyber sector.
