The beginning of 2022 in Ukraine was marked by an increase in pension insurance during the first state car registration.
In accordance with the law of Ukraine, "On the collection for compulsory state pension insurance", the fee for registering a car is calculated based on the amount paid for the vehicle.
Registration cost in numbers:
- Payment of 3% of the price of the car — if the price of the vehicle is equal to or does not exceed $14.996 (165 living wages in Ukraine);
- Payment 4% — if more than $14.996, equal/does not exceed $26.357 (290 minimum living wages in Ukraine);
- 5% — if it exceeds $26.357.
At the same time, the process of secondary registration, or re-registration, is not subject to taxation.
