The Ukraine-EU summit starts today in Kyiv. Initially, it was planned in Brussels, but in order to demonstrate support for our state, it was decided to organize it in the capitals of Ukraine.
On February 2, the head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell and the president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Kyiv. President of the European Council Charles Michel arrived in Kyiv today.
"Back in Kyiv for the EU-Ukraine Summit with Zelenskyy, Ursula von der leyen and Josep Borrell. There will be no let up in our resolve. We will also support you every step of the way on your journey to the EU," Charles Michel.
Earlier, Michel said that he dreams that the post of president of the European Council will one day be taken by a Ukrainian.
