At a briefing in Ukraine Media Centre Kyiv, advisor to the minister of internal affairs of Ukraine Vadym Denisenko said that Ramzan Kadyrov’s fighters planned to seize the orphanage.
"I have no authority to comment on whether Kadyrov is on the territory of Ukraine. But we came to the conclusion that his fighters planned to take the residents of the orphanage as hostages, and then blackmail Ukraine and the whole world," said Vadym Denisenko.
Earlier, Kadyrov posted a video in which he gave instructions to find Ukrainian children. It is assumed that the Chechens had to find children from the orphanage. But the Ukrainian employees evacuated the children before the assassins arrived.
But this does not mean that the Chechens will stop. That is why Ukrainians are called to watch the children closely.
