Ukraine has added a new agroindustrial park in Cherkasy region to the national register, creating another platform for food processing, logistics and regional employment. The Agroinnovative Hub project is planned in Uman community on almost twenty-three hectares and is designed for a thirty-year operating period.
The park is expected to focus on food industry activities: processing and preserving potatoes, fruit and vegetables, producing oils, flour and cereal products, starch, bakery goods, pasta and ready meals. This makes the site more than a warehouse project. It is intended to connect raw agricultural supply with higher-value production.
Industrial capacity for the regions
The planned investment is close to four hundred and twelve million hryvnias, with financing expected from the initiator, state incentives, future participants and other legal sources. The project also points to around one thousand potential jobs, a number that matters for local communities seeking stable employment outside the largest cities.
For Ukraine, industrial parks are becoming a practical tool for regional development. They can concentrate infrastructure, utilities, production facilities and investors in one prepared location, reducing the first barrier for manufacturers that want to launch or expand.
If the hub attracts processors and logistics operators, it could strengthen Cherkasy region as a link between agriculture and food manufacturing, helping more value stay inside the country.
