In Chicago, a charity auction was held during which the Ukrainian flag was presented. The item was signed by the president of Ukraine and the commander-in-chief of the country's Armed Forces, which has been confronting the "2nd army of the world" for 8 months. Also, fighters from Azovostal Yekateryna Polishchuk, Dmytro Kozatskyy, hero of Ukraine Dmytro Funashyn, commander of the national guard Yurii Lebid and interior minister Denys Monastyrskyy left their words on the flag. Ukrainian journalist Natallia Ostrovska brought the exclusive flag of Ukraine to a charity event dedicated to the support of Ukraine. The flag was purchased by the owner of a logistics company in Chicago. She paid $69.000 for the lot.
"This treasure bought the owner of a logistics company in Chicago. The Ukrainian from the Ivano-Frankivsk region, who, from the first day of the war, helps our country. It's a shock, it's a record in Chicago, and emotions can't be transferred! We're gonna win! All the money goes to help Ukraine," says Ostrovska on Facebook.
All the money raised at the auction will be used to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine, volunteers, and medics.
