The Ministry for reintegrating the temporarily occupied territories announced an agreement with the Swiss leader on producing mechanized devices for cleaning territories from explosive objects. According to the agreement, Global Training Solutions will provide Ukraine with 20 cars of its own production. They will be used to clear the Kherson, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv regions from the consequences of Russian aggression: unexploded ordnance and mines. All 20 cars per put in Ukraine until the end of 2023.
In addition, the parties signed a memorandum containing the following points:
- Development of technical and non-technical surveys of likely explosive sites in Ukraine;
- Training in de-occupied territories.
The training will provide practical and theoretical knowledge of the risks associated with non-detonated missiles, munitions, and mines. Lessons will be taught to civilians from territories that are in potential danger.
The active assistance of various foreign partners in demining Ukrainian territories began after an open statement by the leadership of Ukraine. Recently, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the country needs safe and modern machines to demine territories affected by the Russian war. So everyone can help Ukraine. The first machines that save the lives of rescuers are already working in the south of Ukraine.
