According to deputy prime minister for occupied territories reintegration Iryna Vereshchuk, the humanitarian convoy leaving Zaporizhia for Mariupol on March 12 has not yet reached its destination but is heading from Berdyansk to Mariupоl.
"As for Mariupol, a certain column оf private cars has already been able to leave the city today. However, our humanitarian cargo has not yet reached Mariupol, and it is still in Berdyansk. Russia's information that the humanitarian cargo has reached the city is false. The situation in Mariupol is already going beyond all limits. It is not only a matter of law but also of humanity. 20 priests have been sent together with humanitarian aid priests", says Iryna.
As reported by the Mariupol city council, as of March 14, about 2.357 citizens died from bullets and hunger.
As for the evacuation of the population as of today: we managed to evacuate people in the Luhansk region. The evacuation in the Kyiv region failed – the Brovary direction did not work due to open fire from the occupiers. Sumy and Chernihiv regions could not be evacuated. The Kharkiv region is unable to evacuate, as the occupiers destroyed the bridge from the town of Lozova to Izium.
