In 2021, two seed-breeding plants were opened in Ukraine. They are located in the east and west of the country: the Lviv and the Donetsk regions. In 2022, the forest workers plan to build seed-breeding plants. They are located all over the country:
- Volyn;
- Zhytomyr;
- Zakarpattya;
- Ivano-Frankivsk;
- Kyiv;
- Kirovohrad;
- Sumy;
- Chernihiv regions.
Each place will have one new production. The construction of new plants will significantly increase the capacity to grow the plant material.
For the construction, we will use technologies of Swedish company BCC. Ukrainians and Swedes have already talked about the construction of centers. Ukrainian specialists also learned about new features of growing the seeds with the closed root system. The advantages of this method were presented. Also, Swedes told about different kinds of plants and systems of container growing.
All factories in Ukraine plan to be built in one year. The introduction of large industrial plants in eight regions will help secure country reserves and enter into new levels of cooperation with other countries. According to European standards, modern plants are an "engine" for the Ukrainian agro-industry.
