This became known from the official development programme of the region – the Programme of socio-economic and cultural development of the Odesa region for 2023 and the main directions of development for 2024-2025. Complex object oriented on integrating the intellectual potential of the agrarian science of Ukraine will begin to build in 2024. The project is expected to be fully implemented by the end of 2025. The park will specialize in several activities:
- Processing and preservation of fruits, vegetables;
- Cooking oil fabrication;
- Production of mayonnaise, cheese and brynza (goat or sheep milk cheese);
- Cooking canned goose meat and pate;
- Manufacture of products from reeds, vines;
- Biofeed production and others.
Izmail district of the Odesa region was selected for the construction of the agrotechpark. The project requires about $13.5 million in investment.
"Working on the presentation of our company to investors, we have identified several key business projects. We propose to create an agro-technical park on the territory of which you can arrange storage, processing and wholesale. The main goal of this idea is the development of the value chain with a focus on deeper processing of products for the national and foreign market," said MP Irina Pukalova.
This niche is not yet crowded with companies and gives way to the development of both Ukrainian small and medium-sized businesses and foreign investors.
