In a telegram to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the political engagement of two countries, the head of the People’s Republic of China wrote of an appropriate moment to develop further cooperation.
January 4, 2022, marked the thirtieth anniversary of the engagement between Ukraine and China start. Since then, political confidence has been strengthened, and extensive collaboration has been initiated in other sectors. In an official letter, Chinese president Xi Jinping also noted the support of the people during the fight against the coronavirus epidemic.
"Cooperation in all spheres has achieved considerable success, and humanitarian exchange every day becomes more and more frequent, which has increased the welfare of the people. After the outburst of the coronavirus disease, China and Ukraine are supporting each other in the joint fight against the epidemic, which is a manifestation of deep friendship among the people of our countries," he said.
It is worth noting that China will become the largest exporter of Ukrainian agricultural products in 2021. The points of contact between countries in agricultural food products are contained in a large number of items of food significance. Ukraine transports to China:
- Chicken, etc.
In turn, from China to Ukraine, they import:
- Large and small equipment;
- Sports equipment;
- Clothes and shoes.
Ukrainian-Chinese trade continues to develop and gain new momentum, strengthening foreign affairs. No party was willing to interrupt this collaboration, and this was also stated in the congratulations of the head of state.
"The Chinese side is willing, together with the Ukrainian side, to turn the thirtieth anniversary of Chinese-Ukrainian foreign affairs into a favorable opportunity to strengthen Chinese-Ukrainian relations and achieve even greater success in all spheres of collaboration for the welfare of the two countries and their citizens" Xi Jinping emphasized.
