Czech Republic Breaks Cooperation With the Russian Institute for Nuclear Research

The government of the state announced the termination of its participation of the state in the Joint institute for nuclear research within 3 months

The central headquarters of the Joint institute for nuclear research is located in the city of Dubno, not far from Moscow. Not wanting to cooperate with a state blackmailing Europe with a nuclear catastrophe, the Czech Republic decided to terminate its membership in the JINR. This was reported by the Ministry of education of the Czech Republic. The position of the Ministry declares the condemnation of Russian aggression against Ukraine, as well as support for international sanctions against Russia.

The decision to withdraw from JINR was supported by the parliament and also approved by the head of the Ministry of foreign affairs and the president of the Czech Republic.

Specialists from the Czech Republic have been participating in JINR scientific research for 66 years.
