The Ministry of energy of Ukraine received 45 tons of humanitarian aid from Czechia. It is intended to strengthen and restore Ukrainian energy resources in case of repetition of Russian attacks. The packet includes current and voltage transformers and machines to rapidly repair damaged facilities.
Receiving aid was preceded by a meeting between deputy minister of energy of Ukraine Yaroslav Demchenkov and the Czech delegation: plenipotentiary ambassador of the Czech Republic to Ukraine Radek Matula, government commissioner for reconstruction of Ukraine of the Ministry of foreign affairs Tomas Kopecny, and national security advisor of the government office Tomas Pojar. The parties discussed the state of Ukrainian energy and repair work after more than 10 mass missile attacks of the Russian Federation against Ukrainian energy infrastructure. Czech politicians reported they are interested in the restoration and development of the energy sector of Ukraine. In addition to helping to restore and maintain energy in wartime, the allies wanted to develop wind and solar technologies in Ukraine.
Ukraine thanked for the support and preparation of the country for the winter season.
