The manufacturer of computers, servers and technical solutions, "Dell" finally and forever leaves Russia. At the end of March, due to the Russian attack on Ukraine, the company stopped selling its products on the territory of the aggressor country. Now Dell has decided to disband the staff, close the representative office and leave the Russian market.
Previously, the company planned to develop a development centre in St. Petersburg, but now this centre will be set in Poland.
It is known that due to sanctions, Russian production began to suffer from a lack of components and high-quality technologies. Therefore, the country passed a barbaric law to allow the import of foreign-made goods without the permission of the manufacturer. In fact, Russian production will work on spare parts from the "grey market". The information is confirmed by Vyacheslav Volodkovich, general director of the Russian company for producing innovative solutions, Aerodisk. According to him, Dell's exit from the Russian market will force the consumer to switch to Russian-developed technologies, "assuming all the risks associated with a shortage of the necessary production volumes." The other part of the customers will be content with goods from the grey market.
